Description

Critical Languages Program at the University of Arizona is offering Non-credit Norwegian courses. These elementary level 30-hour courses offer instruction in speaking, reading, writing, and listening to Norwegian as well as grammar, vocabulary, and culture.

Norwegian 101

This course is designed for learners of Norwegian with no previous knowledge of the language. This course will introduce all four skills in Norwegian: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Norwegian 102

This course will advance all four skills in Norwegian: speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as grammar, vocabulary, and culture.

Norwegian 201

This course is designed for continuing study of the Norwegian language at the intermediate level with emphasis on it's spoken aspects utilizing intensive preparations with biweekly reviews.

Seats are limited to 12 people. Please note - in order to hold the class, a minimum of 4 people must be enrolled. Payment must be completed to receive the zoom link or class location details. Should a class not meet enrollment, you will be refunded 100%.

Students must be at least 18 years old to participate. See course schedules and registration deadlines here.

NOTE: Non-credit courses do not issue UA university credit but serve only to learn a language. UA students should enroll directly via UAccess if you wish to earn credit. If you are not a UA student and would like to receive UA university credit for the course, you will need to enroll as a (non-degree seeking student). This will require to pay UA tuition, fees, etc. More info on registering for credit found here.
